The first forum of private entrepreneurs of the defense industry started in Kiev. Four dozen Ukrainian enterprises have demonstrated their weapons and military equipment development

The Ukrainian armored car built on the basis of the Soviet BTR-60 now has a completely different look. From the old armored car left only the lower part with wheels and suspension. The updated version is much larger and more powerful than its predecessor, the 5th Channel correspondent reports.

This is the latest development of a factory of the capital’s private company. In general, she will represent her for a month at the All-Ukrainian exhibition of defense industry.

According to developers, the new armored car is more comfortable and safer. The engine is located in front of the driver’s seat. The rear part is for the landing. Before that the armored vehicle was equipped with the latest systems.

“This is a new engine that simply gives much more maneuverability, driving performance, and various additional systems that were simply absent from the old armored personnel carriers, such as the automatic fire extinguishing system,” says Sergey Vilkov, head of development development.

Ukrainian “Malyuk” (eng.- baby) – development on the basis of a Kalashnikov machine. True, it is at least 25 cm shorter than the Soviet predecessor, and, according to developers, is sometimes more convenient to use.

Such “babies” are already armed with Ukrainian armies. The following year, military units should increase significantly. The same as the modern development of the Kharkiv plant of personal protective equipment.

Predator machine gun complex “Predator” is a real find for machine gunners. All ammunition sets – and this is up to 500 rounds – the developers placed in the back of the back.

“The uninterrupted supply of ammunition, which results in the ammunition that the machine gunner carries with him – he does not need to recharge, he does not need to spend time on it.
