Truck for transportation (on-board platform) for transportation of military personnel and military equipment
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT PLANT LLC manufactures the truck for military personnel transportation.
This vehicle type has improved road performance and is designed for operation, both on general purpose roads and in off-road conditions.
The production process consists in the production of a body with special characteristics and its installation on the customer’s chassis.
Therefore, the overall dimensions of the onboard platform (body) may differ depending on the mounting dimensions of the chassis.
The onboard platform (body) developed by SPECIAL EQUIPMENT PLANT LLC is equipped with the benches for sitting, which are reliably fixed in proper technological places. The benches are placed at a height of 150 mm and at least 400 mm from each other.
Seats that are located along the rear or side board are equipped with strong backrests.
At a longitudinal arrangement of sitting benches, a belt or a safety bar is installed parallel to a back board.
Body bolts are designed specially to prevent their spontaneous opening while the vehicle is moving.
In addition, the onboard platform (body) is equipped with support guides to support the canopy, which can be installed when required.
The canopy has the increased operational characteristics and is equipped with access openings from special transparent and flexible material, and with ventilating apertures. On the backboard the canopy has a special fixture that allows you lock the canopy both from the inside and outside.
The set includes:
- Sound alarm system between cab and body;
- Canopy and support beams;
- Steps with handrails;
- Fire safety equipment;
- Primary care equipment (first aid kit).
The body is covered with a special wear-resistant paint.
The color is determined by the customer.
Additionally, this model of the onboard platform can be equipped with a crane-manipulator (CM), a special hydraulic lift for transportation by partial load method using the front axle of the transported vehicle which is towed by a coupling device.
