The Supervisory Board of the DK “Ukroboronprom” held a meeting, during which the rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kiev Polytechnic Institute named after I. Sikorsky” Mikhail Zgurovsky was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Lieutenant-General Yaroslav Skalko, former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Air Force, was elected Vice-Chairman.

At the same time, the Supervisory Board urged the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to appoint as soon as possible two more members of the Supervisory Board, which should be foreign experts of the world level with international military and managerial experience. In this case, one of these foreign experts should take the post of the second deputy chairman.

The Supervisory Board has heard and approved the report of the Director General Roman Romanov during the current period and thanked for the high level of organization of the work performed and the results achieved.

The Supervisory Board is the supreme management body of Ukroboronprom, its powers include approval of the development strategy and activities of the Concern, control over the implementation by the Concern and its participants of the tasks entrusted to them in the field of defense-industrial complex and military-technical cooperation, approval of the activities of the Concern , definition of investment policy.

In addition, the Supervisory Board exercises control over the effective use and preservation of state-owned objects transferred to the management of the Concern, conducts financial and economic activities of the Concern and performs other tasks in accordance with the Ukroboronprom’s Charter.
