On February 26, 2018, at the invitation of the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the State concern “Ukroboronprom”, the rector of the Igor Sikorsky KPI Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Mykhailo Zgurovsky and Director General of the State Enterprise “Ukroboronprom” Pavel Bukin The Chairman of the Board of the League Oleg Vysotsky took part in the official opening of the Specialist Training Program in the Management of the Military-Industrial Complex, which begins at the KPI.
Under this program of the next higher education (second highest) in the Igor Sikorsky KPI will be studying engineers and managers of enterprises and structural subdivisions of the State Enterprise “Ukroboronprom”, as well as other enterprises of all forms of ownership, which work to strengthen the defense of Ukraine and are integral components of its defense-industrial complex.
The aim of the program is to train management personnel who are capable of systematically and innovative thinking, make effective decisions, possess modern management and marketing tools, and perform high-level management functions in the field of defense-engineering complex.
For this purpose, the competences (ie knowledge and skills), which the students of the program are supposed to acquire under the new specialization, and the list of blocks of educational disciplines, which will help the students to acquire such competences, logically follow. This is not only a purely managerial discipline (project management, personnel management, strategic enterprise management, management decision-making, management psychology), but also absolutely necessary for a modern highly skilled knowledge manager in finance and sustainable development, a foreign language, a global economy, management of foreign economic activity . international marketing of OPC products, customs, international contract law, commercial diplomacy, information security, etc.
Representatives of Ukroboronprom make up the lion’s share of future managers in the field of defense industry, and representatives of the League will be trained for the new master’s program – employees of RPA “Practika” and “Dolya & Co.LTD”.
The Faculty of Management and Marketing will be the graduate faculty for the training of management specialists for the military-defense complex of the country. The term of masters training in this specialization will be 1 year 4 months, and their first issue will be in 2019.
