The Ukrainian company “Radionix” and the State Design Bureau “Luch” successfully carried out rocket launches from the upgraded S-125 MR “Pechora”. This is reported on its Facebook page by the press office of the bureau.

It is noted that during the test of the modernized anti-aircraft missile system, a 5V27D-M2 missile with an active radar head was launched.

“At the initial site of the rocket moves along the air ballistic trajectory, such a missile flight significantly increases the frontier of the zone of damage to the ZRK S-125M,” the statement said.

It is noted that the far limit of the damage zone with new missiles is 40 km, the maximum height of the damage zone is 25 km
