April 13 Public Association «League of Defense Companies of Ukraine» and the State Concern «Ukroboronprom» signed a memorandum on cooperation.
Signatures on paper put CEO Derzhkontsernu «Ukroboronprom» Roman Romanov and board member of the League of defense enterprises of Ukraine Oleg Vysotsky.

The document allows to significantly increase military-industrial cooperation of public and private organizations of national defense industry, introduce mechanisms of state-private partnership. According Derzhkontsernu “Ukroboronprom”, then 558 domestic enterprises will operate as a single mechanism.

In Derzhkontserni “Ukroboronprom” event has been called the creation of “defense Abu” and “a new page in the history of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine.” In particular, “henceforth officially cooperate 134 of concern, more than 30 enterprises’ League defense enterprises of Ukraine” and 394 enterprises, Concern involved in the program of import substitution “- commented signing of the Memorandum head “Ukroboronprom” Roman Romanov. According to him, these agreements concern include “League defense companies of Ukraine” to cooperation with regional administrations, the state defense order, initiating joint development of new weapons and joint representation of Ukraine in international defense exhibition.

We are dedicated to real production cooperation with companies of the public sector defense industry and common development “, – said board member of the League of security companies Ukraine Oleg Vysotsky.

The event was also attended by deputies of Ukraine Victor Krivenko, who reported a deputy interfactional association to support the defense sector and noted the importance of public-private partnership called “For the development of defense industry and aerospace industry in Ukraine.”
