The public association “League of Defense Companies of Ukraine” addressed the National Bank of Ukraine with a request to consider new mechanisms for lending to the state defense order.

This was during a round table at Ukrinform on “New risks of rearming the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Who will defend the Ukrainian defense industry? “Said the head of the supervisory board of the “League of Defense Companies of Ukraine”, former Prime Minister and Defense Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov.

“From the “League of Defense Companies of Ukraine”, we appealed to the Council of the National Bank with a request that they consider possible new mechanisms for lending to the state defense order, because if we understand it, there are no risks. And the main percentages are due to the fact that there are big risks, and in this case there is practically no risk,” – he said.

Yekhanurov said that there was also a coordination meeting on this issue between the representatives of the League and the chairman of the supervisory board “Ukroboronproma” academician Mikhail Zgurovsky. “Mikhail Zgurovsky promised that they would appeal to the government, so he also supported,” – he added.

As reported, the “League of Defense Companies of Ukraine” brings together more than 40 private defense companies in Ukraine. The main activity of the League is determined by the participation of its members in the effective and qualitative rearmament of the Armed Forces.
