The President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko visited one of the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kirovograd region and got acquainted with its functioning and combat readiness.
The head of state also demonstrated samples of the RPC «Athlon Avia» pilotless UAVs, including UAV «Fury», to carry out intelligence on enemy forces at any time of the day; equipment for opto-electronic intelligence and means of electronic warfare (complexes «ANKLAV» and «JAB» produced by HC «UkrSpetzTechnika»). Also, the work of the air defense system on the platform of combat armored vehicles «Kozak-2.M» by RPA «Practika» was demonstrated. It should be noted that all the above-mentioned enterprises are members of the League of Defense Enterprises of Ukraine.

The President also visited the air defense unit, where Colonel Valery Grinevich, Deputy Head of the Central Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Colonel Valery Volkov, Deputy Head of the Central Electoral Control Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Valery Volkov, acquainted the Head of State with the available means of air defense and practical actions of the personnel during the implementation of measures to combat the unmanned lethal force Apparatuses.
