The merger of private defense enterprises “League of Defense Companies of Ukraine” has more than doubled expansion plans for this year.
This was reported by Oleg Vysotsky, chairman of the board of the League of Defense Companies of Ukraine, during a press conference in the Ukrinform news agency.

“At the moment in our organization a few participants – a little more than 40 enterprises, but we set ourselves the goal of attracting more companies this year to become 100. We understand that there are many companies that are engaged in military-industrial cooperation or are trying to do this, and we have already taken it for the parameters for which we will either invite to ourselves, or will be interested in seeing them (companies – ed.) in our league. Our task is to have a lot of us,” – said Mr. Vysotsky.

General Director of the League of Defense Companies of Ukraine Oleksandr Yasinsky defines the interests of members of the League for important tasks; creation of conditions for work that will be equal to those existing at enterprises of state ownership, as well as promotion of goods of the enterprises entering the League, on the domestic and foreign markets.
At the same time, speaking about the achievements of the work of the “League of Defense Companies of Ukraine” for the first year of existence, Vysotsky called for the establishment of close relations with all the power structures that are related to the military-industrial complex. “The Administration of the President, the Cabinet, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense have become not so that our partners, but people who understand us, hear,” he said.
The “League of Defense Companies of Ukraine” was formed in 2017. The decision to create a non-governmental association of Ukrainian enterprises and organizations that are manufacturers / developers of defense and dual-purpose products was approved by the heads of several dozen such structures during the XIII International Specialized Exhibition “Weapons and Security 2016”. The main activity of the League is determined by the participation of its members in the effective and qualitative rearmament of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
