Ethernet switch
The switch is designed to provide packet switching for data exchange between the automated workstations of officials and their integration into a local area network (LAN) built using 10/100 Ethernet technology (10Base-T and 100Base-TX, and versions can also support 100Base technology -FX).
The switch has 14 physically independent ports for connecting a 10/100 Ethernet network, and 2 optical connectors 100BaseFX. The switch stores up to 1024 maximum Ethernet packets of the maximum size (1536 bytes).
The switch provides:
– automatic transmission rate detection – 10 or 100 Mbit / s (for ports with support for 10Base-T, 100Base-TX Ethernet technology)
– auto-detect transmission mode – full duplex or half duplex (for ports with support for 10Base-T technology, 100Base-TX Ethernet)
– auto detection of cable connection type – direct or crossover (for ports supporting 10Base-T, 100Base-TX Ethernet)
– formation of virtual networks by VLAN technology in accordance with the requirements of IEEE 802.1Q;
– filtering data by MAC addresses;
– assigning pre-defined MAC addresses to the ports;
– frame flow control taking into account the ports QoS and / or their priorities.
The switch has the ability to form two groups of trunk connections between switches up to four ports per group.
