Mobile VHF radio R-030U
The radio is designed to provide radio communications in stationary and field conditions as part of tanks, armored personnel carriers, wheeled and tracked combat vehicles.
The radio provides the ability to transmit and receive voice information and data (digital information) when operating at fixed frequencies (not antijamming) and in antijamming mode.
Antijamming mode of operation is intended to ensure the possibility of radio communication in the conditions of setting intentional interference. Protection against intentional interference is provided by the use of a mode with a pseudo-random frequency tuning.(PRFT)
The radio provides the ability to work in the following modes:
– simplex – reception and transmission at one frequency when operating at fixed frequencies or reception and transmission at one set over the radio channel in frequency hopping mode;
– half duplex – reception on one frequency, and transmission on another frequency when operating at fixed frequencies or reception on one set via a radio channel, and transmission on another set to a radio channel in frequency hopping mode;
– regular radio reception;
– single-frequency simplex (half-duplex) in one radio network and on-duty reception in another radio network;
– introduction of radio data;
– retransmission.
At fixed frequencies and in frequency hopping mode, the radio provides the ability to transmit and receive:
– voice information from the handset (phone) or from a telephone headset;
– speech information from the laryngophone headset (from the intercom);
– analog information in the frequency range from 300 to 3400 Hz at the junction C1-PM;
– digital information with speeds: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 16000 bps from PC or from other devices via RS-232 interface;
– digital information with speeds: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 16000 bps from devices on the C1-I interface;
– short alphanumeric messages;
– individual (selective), circular (group) and tonal call.
At fixed frequencies, language information is transmitted:
– in analog form in the F3E class of radiation, which provides a combination of a radio station over the radio channel with the radio stations of the old park;
– with the conversion of speech information into digital form using the built-in delta codec (CVSD) in the emission class F1. The transfer rate of the converted speech information is 16000 bps.
In frequency hopping mode, voice information is transmitted only with digitization (CVSD) in the emission class F1.
Voice information, converted to digital form, both at fixed frequencies and frequency hopping mode can be transmitted with or without technical masking.
The radio provides a radio communication range on a mid-terrain terrain in the parking lot and in the movement of an object equipped with a radio, when operating on a whip antenna with a circular pattern of 20 – 30 km.
The radio is able to operate on no more than 16 pre-programmed channels for operation at fixed frequencies (from the first to the sixteenth channel) and no more than on 16 pre-programmed channels in the frequency hopping mode (from the seventeenth to thirty-second channel). The choice of the programmed channel is carried out by buttons from the control panel, as well as from the PC.
When working with a radio, it is possible to control and enter radio data from devices and equipment, namely:
– from the control panel (front panel of the transceiver)
– from the remote control via RS-232 interface;
– from PC via RS-232 interface;
– from the storage device and the introduction of radio data via RS-232 interface.
