ORION 2.4 HX non-linear junction detector
Designed for
– detection of eavesdropping and recording devices, other electronic contraband
– searching secure areas for hidden or prohibited electronics
Key features
– circularly polarized transmit and receive antenna removes risk of missing a threat due to incorrect antenna polarization;
– 1.25 MHz-wide bandwidth transmit signal increases detection sensitivity;
– detects equipment containing semiconductor components regardless whether the device is radiating, hard wired, or turned off;
– patented algorithm for synchronizing a highly sensitive receiver with a transmitter provide improved detection & minimize interference;
– touch screen displays the full RF spectrum for transmit, 2nd, or 3rd frequency ranges:
– synthesized transceiver with frequency stability and agility to automatically search for clean operating frequencies (2.404 GHz – 2.472 GHz);
– more than 60 available transmit channels: manual or auto selection;
– alert tones and haptic (vibration) alert can be selected to alert when signal levels surpass the trip levels;
– transmit power: 3.3 W EIRP, manual or auto selection.

Lightweight design and interface
The ORION 2.4 HX non-linear junction detector is hand held and compact when retracted and can extend to a full length of 147 cm for investigating hard to reach areas. A completely new polycarbonate body is under 1.4 kg and no assembly is required with an integrated telescoping pole. It takes up to 20 seconds to prepare the ORION 2.4 HX for operation.
The line of sight display provides visible feedback at any length. The ORION 2.4 HX includes a touchscreen for controlling the device and monitoring its operation. Micro SD card is used for storing custom user settings and screen captures.
