R&S®ARDRONISUAV (drones) detection and suppression system
A comprehensive solution The R&S® ARDRONIS system is an effective and reliable solution for detecting, locating and countering radio-controlled drones. When detecting the signals of the ground control panel or the return radio channel of the drone, the system automatically determines the parameters of the signal, classifies the source of radiation, determines the type of drone, locates the location of the operator and the drone itself. At the operator’s command, the R&S® ARDRONIS suppresses the radio control channel to prevent the UAV from reaching the target.
Key features
– early automatic warning of a threat: the system is able to detect the activity of the ground control point even before the drone takes off and immediately notify the operator;
– direction-finding of UAVs with PPRC control and active countermeasures against them: the choice of modes of placing obstacles allows to quickly respond to threats;
– accurate classification of drones with PPRC-control thanks to automatic comparison of the parameters of the ground control point with the built-in library of profiles;
– continuous notification of drone activity on all frequencies used by them in a large coverage area provides situational awareness;
– video signal interception: the system is capable of intercepting and visualizing various video formats, which allows security service personnel to see what the UAV operator sees;
– decoding the video signal and recording the signal of the ground control point of the drone allows you to collect valuable facts that can be used to prove the illegal actions of the drone operator.
Basic sets of the system
R&S® ARDRONIS-I. Detection Ideal for users interested in the detection and classification of drones, that is, a system for monitoring the activity of UAVs in a specific area. Relatively small, compact, quickly adjusted. For portable use, the set includes a transport case with a compartment for R&S®ARDRONIS-I installation (antenna, receiver, laptop, accessories).
R&S® ARDRONIS-D. Radio direction finding Provides effective and reliable detection and direction finding of radio control signals in the shortest possible time. A combination of a reliable detection result and an accurate bearing line superimposed on a detailed map of the area. For ease of transportation and deployment, the system includes an INCAS unit with a compartment for R&S®ARDRONIS-D installation (radio finder and laptop).
R&S® ARDRONIS-R. Radio jamming Comes with an R&S®WSE intelligent wideband emitter to detect, classify and suppress ground control signals, capable of suppressing drone control signals in a specific frequency band. Includes a compact INCAS unit for R&S®ARDRONIS-R installation (R&S®WSE emitter, R&S®WSERTA amplifier, R&S®SGT100A RF vector generator and network switch).
R&S® ARDRONIS-P. Opposition Provides classification, direction finding and countermeasures against radio-controlled drones. Contains an optional R&S®DDF550 radio direction finder, which determines the direction of the UAV and its operator. Supplied with R&S®WSE for detection, classification and suppression of radio control signals. Includes INCAS unit in compact configuration for R&S®ARDRONIS-P installation (R&S®WSE, R&S®DDF550, R&S®SGT100A and network switch).
