Starting command post SCP-11

Starting command post (SCP) – a command post for managing aircraft flights, usually at field (temporary) aerodromes, but can also be used at stationary aerodromes as a backup or primary means of air traffic control.

To ensure flight control of aircraft, the SCP includes radio engineering, navigation, meteorological and telephone equipment, antennas and special lighting equipment. The kit also includes redundant uninterruptible power supplies to ensure battery life. Inside the body are equipped the workplaces of the flight manager, observer, timekeeper, radio mechanics, weather forecaster.

Communication equipment SCP-11 is structurally made in the form of separate devices, which are fixed in racks, on the walls of the body or mounted in the workplace. The electrical connection between the equipment blocks is carried out using cables laid in cable ducts.

SСP-11 provides:

– two-way radio communication with airplanes through two VHF – UHF radio. Both radio operate on separate antennas independently of each other;
– two-way radio communication with aircraft through a backup transceiver;
– documenting the radio exchange of the flight manager with aircraft and saving using the AMUR-X-PRO product;
– telephone communication in the VoIP network. SCP-11 provides connection to up to ten (inclusive) external telephone lines.
