Truck-mounted workshop for the military personnel transportation and rerair equipment

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT PLANT LLC produces a serial model of the ‘Truck-mounted workshop’ body on the basis of the truck chassis (such as KRAZ, MAZ, ISUZU, etc.) with the appropriate dimensional adaptation and adjustment of equipment functionality.

A typical model of a special vehicle with the ‘Truck-mounted workshop’ body is designed to carry up to 8 passengers and the necessary equipment and tools on roads of all categories (general purpose roads/off the road).

The ‘Truck-mounted workshop’ box carrier has passenger and cargo compartments.

In the passenger compartment there are lockers with headrests, a folding table top and everything needed for a comfortable arrangement of people.

The cargo compartment has a niche for loading the necessary equipment/tools, windows, and convenient stairs to access the cargo compartment of the box carrier. On the roof of the box carrier there is a trunk compartment for mounting ladders and portable grounding of the contact system.

This ‘Truck-mounted workshop’ body model is designed for a chassis with a 4×4 wheel formula.

Box carrier frame of Van body type is with bevels of external longitudinal ribs.
 Platform has a welded structure of cold-rolled metal shape, improved type, with reinforced side members. Fastening to the frame is of the combined type.

The design of the walls and ceiling is a glued sandwich panel, with dimensions corresponding to the overall dimensions of the box carrier.
 The box carrier has a high maintainability and the ability to replace individual elements of the walls and ceiling in case of mechanical damage.

The floor of the box carrier is insulated with polymer insulation.
 The floor of the passenger compartment is covered inside with car anti-slip coating of Autoline type. The floor of the cargo compartment is covered with bakelite plywood.
 Internal flange around the perimeter is corrugated aluminum 200 mm.
Service doors (single-leaf), installed on the right side of the vehicle are equipped with two-position locks of automatic type (opened from the outside and inside). Rear swing type doors are equipped with door-clamping mechanisms. Opening angle is 270°.

The doors fixation is in the open position.  The rear door has a ladder for climbing to the roof.

The ‘Truck-mounted workshop’ box carrier is equipped with windows.
 In particular, the passenger compartment has 1 sliding window, and the cargo compartment has 2 sliding windows.

The passenger compartment is also completed with the heating system working from the independent air heater of the passenger compartment.
 

The interior lighting of the box carrier consists of LED lampshades and euroswitches.
Exterior lighting as standard delivery package: clearance and outer lamps.

Additionally, the box carrier is equipped with an intercom with the driver (in the passenger compartment), stairs (bus type) for access to the passenger compartment.
Access to the cargo compartment of the box carrier is provided by sliding ladders.

On the right board there is a compartment for appliances, tools and equipment (1000x700x700 mm) with a door on the outside.

On the roof of the box carrier there is a trunk compartment for mounting ladders and portable grounding of the contact system.

At the Customer request, technical and functional changes can be introduced to the design of the ‘Truck-mounted workshop’ van.
