Today, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported in the first reading draft law No. 13335 on the temporary reservation of employees of defence enterprises.

This document is of great importance, as it creates conditions for key specialists in the defence industry to continue their work — providing the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons, equipment and other necessary products. Continuity of production in wartime is not only a matter of economics, but above all a matter of our defence capability.

Why is this important?

— The bill allows for flexible reservation of enterprise employees to avoid disruptions in production processes.

— It will help strengthen the position of our defence-industrial complex and provide the army with everything it needs.

The League of Defence Companies of Ukraine has made considerable efforts to implement this initiative. We held consultations and developed proposals together with businesses, experts and government officials. This is a team effort aimed at strengthening the defence-industrial potential of the state.
