Congratulations on the Victory Day over Nazism in the Second World War!

On these May days, we recall all those whose lives took the war. We bow a little and make a deep respect for the veterans who carried the weight of the war on their shoulders and raised the country from the ruins in the post-war years. We will glorify those who in the rear self-defeating work has brought victory closer.
Three years ago, Ukraine joined the European countries in celebration of the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation. This new tradition for us complements and enhances the usual national holiday – the Day of Victory over Nazism in the Second World War.
Ukrainians in the ranks of the United Nations won the aggressor. Our fighters, when liberating their native land and European countries from Nazism, covered themselves with immortal glory. They have made thousands of feats, at risk, and often giving their lives in the name of their freedom. Everyone stood and won. They won because they defended the right to life.
Victory won by veterans Today, Victory inspires us for new accomplishments, strengthens spirit, helps to overcome difficulties and to go forward.
The feat of grandfathers and great-grandfathers is worthy of continuing by Ukrainian soldiers who, at the cost of their own lives, defend the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine on its eastern borders.
Light and eternal memory of the fallen warriors. Honor and glory to living heroes!
