Statement
Public Union “League of Defense Companies of Ukraine”
regarding the distribution of materials in the media,
which discredit the company “Techimpex”

In connection with the dissemination of incorrect information in the media about the activities of the company “Techimpex”, which is a member of the League of Defense Companies of Ukraine (hereinafter – the League), we consider it necessary to give an assessment of such publications.

“Techimpex” is a private defense company that executes the State Defense Order. Over the past four years, she has completed over 200 units of armored vehicles and vehicles and equipment for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the STS of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies.

“Techimpex” is not self-employed in the export of military goods and services, and carries out export operations solely through state-owned companies-special exporters authorized by the Government of Ukraine. According to the current legislation of Ukraine, all foreign economic contracts are compulsorily undergo expert evaluation of authorized public services and are realized only after obtaining the necessary permissions and certificates of the State Export Control Service of Ukraine.

There is therefore no reason to assert that Technimpex in its activities violates national or international legislation that determines the procedure and rules for import-export operations with military goods.

We believe that such informational messages are discredited not so much by Techimpex and the League as the whole defense industry of Ukraine in front of the Ukrainian and world community.
